Chhandak Pradhan is an editorial photographer and freelance journalist based in Kolkata, India. He started his career as a reporter at 22 with a marginal propensity for photography. Few chance encounters and internships later, Chhandak now talks about himself in third person and specialises in interviews; multimedia, documentary, corporate and fashion photography along with conceptualising content for editorial projects. He is part of Babel Images- an international collective of documentary photographers and is represented by Barcroft Media (UK) and OTN Photos (Italy).
Chhandak loves the twenty-fifth letter of the alphabet, flooded roads, sticky humid weather, desire, envy and things people are. He spends his spare time convincing his professor parents that a photojournalist makes more money than an investment banker!
